Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying this magical season. This has been a year to remember for a great personal milestones. Yours truly became an Official Canadian Citizen on December 5, 2006.
By my side was my wonderful husband - my joy and my love.
Tears of happiness filled my eyes as I said the Oath to our Country with other 74 new citizens, some of my favorite memories of this beautiful day are 3 young boys ages around 3, 6, and 10 raising proudly their arm and repeating the oath together, a beautiful snowfall while we sang O Canada as citizens for the first time, only to clear later to give way to one of the warmest days in the last couple of months.
And a very chaotic couple of months we've had, at least when it comes to the weather: one of the coldest Novembers in history and most snow I remember in a long time!
But most of all, this year has been one full of emotions, from sheer Joy and Happiness when I became a citizen, to sadness and sorrow when we said goodbye to our cousin Albert for the last time; from frustration and headache with our ever going home renovations to a great sense of accomplishment and achievement when we see all the different 'jobs' we've got done!
We are really looking forward to going to California soon for a long overdue visit to Lloyd, Kathy, Luke, Jonathan and Andrew... we are processing our Canadian Passports in the coming month!
May Our Lord give you a Year Full of Joy, Peace and Prosperity. Happy New Year!
